The Mendocino Film Festival is terrific in so many ways. The beautiful surroundings are a given, but the festival itself is very special. The people who run it truly love movies and want to celebrate filmmakers and their films for all the right reasons. It's what film festivals used to be - intimate, inclusive and inspiring. I had a great time screening my movies and hanging with wonderful people. I hope they invite me again!

I had such an amazing time at the fest this past weekend. You both and your entire time did a fabulous job, and I am so thankful to have been able to be a part of it. I cannot thank you both enough! The reception at the screening was perfect, and I loved getting to share the film with everyone. You both went above and beyond for CRABS! and I am so grateful.

Rory and I had such a fantastic weekend. We spit our time between walks along the bluffs (we stopped several times in the car to check out a new area and it would always lead on some lovely pathway to yet another stunning ocean view…) and going to films. We’ve been telling friends and family all about them ever since leaving… I was genuinely impressed and very grateful.

Seats for The Restless Hungarian were sold out. In the Q&A period I was really impressed by the depth and intelligence of the audience questions. Added to that I loved the intimacy of the festival. For two days after the screening people kept coming up to me to tell me what the film meant to them. That was wonderful!

The Mendocino Film Festival managed to be both elegant and homey – elegant parties, but the atmosphere of the screenings, Q&A and panels felt intimate and productive. I made friends, shared tips with filmmakers and felt part of a community with hope for the future.

Thanks for a great weekend! You run a very nice festival – and the IndieWire article is fantastic, my office manager is posting and tweeting about it. I’ll tell everyone what a great experience I had.

MFF was a true joy, a cinematic jewel by the sea. The venue was charming, the audience was fully engaged, and Herb, Angela, and the rest of the MFF family made it all so easy to just sit back and enjoy.

Out of all the festivals I’ve attended the Mendocino Film Festival was one of the best. The team behind the festival, the community support, and the several parties with amazing food, gave a warm opportunity to meet and network with other filmmakers and supporters.
